BOBBIN HEAD PICNIC GROUND

Public BBQ

Bobbin Head Picnic Ground is a beautiful and family-friendly destination with various amenities and activities, making it perfect for a day out in nature. It is located on the banks of Cowan Creek and offers stunning views, picnic tables, barbeque areas, toilets, and a playground. There are well-maintained walking trails leading through the surrounding bushland and a boat ramp for those wanting to explore the river by boat. Paddleboats, kayaks, and canoes can also be rented. On-site, there is a kiosk selling snacks and refreshments. However, visitors should note that there may be poor mobile coverage in some areas and that the park can get crowded on weekends. Some visitors have noted that there are large lizards around the BBQ areas, so caution is advised, especially for families with young children.
